HART is a mechanism for the relevant investigative, enforcement, and prosecution agencies to provide a coordinated response in high-risk domestic violence cases where there exists a particularly high risk to the victim(s) or other persons.  The team works collectively to enhance the safety of victims and their children by assessing and actively managing high-risk domestic violence cases.
